Our client is a leading healthcare market research agency that specialises in OTC, device diagnostics, consumer healthcare and pharma.

They are experts in qual and quant research and work throughout the product lifecycle.  After several years of exceptional growth they are expanding the team and have opened a new office in London.  This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in an emerging research company during some fantastic growth.

The role

Senior Research Executives are responsible for being a trusted client contact with ability to develop profitably business. They have main responsibility for handling client projects through all stages of the lifecycle from initial briefing to report writing and/or debrief presentation, ensuring that the research design and analysis and interpretation of results fulfills clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • To meet any agreed objectives on commissioned revenues.
  • To take, when requested, research briefs from existing clients, interpret the brief and clarify their needs. 
  • To define, in consultation with a Project Consultant, appropriate research protocols which provide solutions to each client brief. These will draw from the companies repertoire of techniques and may combine both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • To write research proposals when required, including costings as agreed with Senior Management, and sell them to clients.
  • To manage project teams within the research team and brief colleagues from other departments on all aspects of projects, to ensure accurate and timely execution of the research.
  • To design questionnaires, discussion guides and paperwork and to ensure they are approved by the client, Field, Data Processing and Data Analysis.
  • To draw up schedules for all aspects of each project and ensure that they are issued and agreed by all relevant personnel, notifying people immediately of any changes.
  • To ensure that clients receive and understand their topline results whenever appropriate.
  • To analyse quantitative and diagnostic data providing considered reporting, interpretation and recommendations for discussion with a director prior to the debrief.
  • To supervise the work of junior members of the Research Team (Research Assistants, Trainee Research Executives and Research Executives) as requested.
  • To monitor actual performance against budgeted costs on all projects, taking any necessary remedial action as agreed with Senior Management.
  • To exercise cost controls to ensure that clients are fully invoiced promptly for all aspects of the research.
  • To follow the procedures as described in the ISO Manual, to maintain a high quality of client service at every stage of the research process.
  • To assist Senior Management with any other tasks as required.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years primary market research experience
  • Versatile in various research methodologies
  • Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors
  • Good understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research
  • Team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Happy to travel when needed
