Our client is an exciting, vibrant medical education company with a rapidly growing reputation for excellence. They provide a wide range of marketing, consultancy and communications services to the pharmaceutical industry and also work with a number of other organisations, including the NHS. Their primary role is to help our clients, via meetings, conferences, publications and other means, to develop medical opinion about their products.

The position

Our client is now seeking Account Managers/Senior Account Managers to work within their busy and dynamic Medical Education team on UK, European and global accounts. The role will involve responsibility for managing day to day activity across multiple projects and with clients on a range of medical education programmes, including:

a) Advisory boards

b) Congress symposia

c) Regional and national meetings

d) KOL mapping and development initiatives

e) Training programmes

f) Publications

g) Market access materials and activities

h) Digital communications

Essential skills

a) Previous experience of working as an Account Manager or similar

b) Excellent written and verbal communication skills

c) Excellent project management and organisational skills

d) Keen eye for detail

e) Ability to establish strong rapport with new and existing clients

f) Financial awareness

Desirable skills

a) Medical communications agency experience across all our clients core business activities, including KOL advocacy and development, publishing and e-media, events and meetings and market access.
